Airlink takes off with Durban to Harare flights

You are now able to fly directly to Harare from Durban.
Airlink's inaugural flight to the Zimbabwean capital took off from King Shaka International Airport on Tuesday morning.
A return flight landed back in Durban on the same afternoon.
It's currently the only airline that flies directly to Harare from Durban.

Airlink spokesperson Rodger Foster says they will be increasing the number of flights between the two cities as time goes on.
"Using our regional jet aircraft which carries 37 passengers and that will start three times per week in the beginning, but we are expecting that to ramp up very quickly to six or seven times per week in the very near future.
"And certainly going by the support that we have seen in the market so far, we expect the six to be in place in the very near future."
