Adam Levine denies cheating on pregnant wife but admits he “crossed the line”

Adam Levine is finally addressing rumours that he had a year-long affair with a woman named Sumner Stroh. 

The Instagram model spilled the beans about their alleged relationship on TikTok. She shared screenshots of conversations she had with the 'Beautiful Mistakes' singer.

In one conversation, Adam allegedly informs her that he is about to have another baby and if it is a boy, he wants to name him Sumner. 

She said in her video that she felt "manipulated" by the singer, who allegedly told her his marriage to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo was over. The Namibian model is expecting their third child together.

Sumner told Page Six that her relationship with Adam was "physical", but Adam denies that he cheated on his wife. 

He shared a lengthy message on his Instagram addressing the affair rumours. 

"A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgement in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life," the 43-year-old wrote. 

He added that in "certain instances" his conversations with the 23-year-old "became inappropriate". He did not elaborate further on those instances. 

"I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family." While Behati is yet to react to the news, Adam made it clear they are working through this as a family. 

"My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was my greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together."

But it seems Adam's alleged mistress does not agree with his response to what went down between them. "Someone get this man a dictionary," she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Despite reiterating that she was young, naive, and felt manipulated by Adam, Sumner apologised to his wife and their two children - Gio Grace and Dusty Rose.

“I fully realize I’m not the victim in this. I’m not the one who’s really getting hurt here. It’s Behati and her children, and for that, I’m so, so sorry,” she said in a new TikTok video.

Both of her videos have been watched millions of times.
