There is never a shortage of consumer-related issues - and this is the very reason that Carol Ofori has Wendy Knowler on speed-dial. Most of the time, it can be difficult to figure out your way around a service provider's terms and conditions.
But for the most part, there is this overlying understanding that clicking the terms and conditions box is just an oversight that many consumers just do so they can get the transaction done. The truth is even those consumers who do read the Ts and Cs rarely understand them fully.
In this case, it was a woman who had an Edgars account and her account was in credit. But as time passed, she was being charged for a club membership that she did not sign up for.
