Meditate in Durban this Freedom Day
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
Take in the fresh air of Westville sanctuary, meditate in a serene and peaceful place, and there's a burger in it for you too...
What are your plans for Freedom Day?
Most people will take advantage of the long weekend not paying tribute to the significance that comes with this special day.
It's not just another day off. So, why not treat it with the level of love it deserves and do something invigorating.
Meditate in Durban, a non-profit organisation, is hosting a Freedom Day fundraiser and you get a burger out of it.
But that's not all you get! You also get to enjoy an inspiring talk, which will set you up for a walk in the nearby beautiful Westville eco-trails. The walk is optional, but getting out and into nature is always a great thing. You only realise its benefits after the fact...
The great part is that there will also be games and crafts available for the kids during the meditation class, so you can bring them along for a fun day.
The day looks something like this.
Guided Meditation Session | 9:30am – 10:45am
Walk on the Eco-trails | 11am – 12pm
Lunch | 12:30pm – 1:30pm
And the prices start from R130 for kids and R300 for adults. If you are interested in this meaningful fundraiser, then click here to book and learn more about the day of activities.
