Do you enjoy water activities? Then white water rafting in Richmond is the perfect adventure for you!
KwaZulu-Natal is packed with lots of fun things to do for the whole family.
One of the activities that residents and visitors to the province can enjoy is rafting.
White water rafting is a great sport for anyone who enjoys outdoor recreation. It is loved by both young and old. So, this means the whole family can have fun together in the river.
The Liquid Adventures, approximately 22km from Richmond, offers great white water rafting. Visitors will enjoy journeys on two-man inflatables called Crocs on the Umkomaas River. The stretch covers about 14 km. The rafting will take between three to four hours, and it offers fun like you have never experienced before.
Just bring your river shoes or takkies, costume, long sleeve rash vest, a towel and sunscreen and let the fun begin.
There is a paddling demo offered which means even those who have never even paddled before can still learn how to and join in the fun.
If you want to extend your stay, you can book these nearby accommodation venues: Three Birds Country House, The Richmond Café & Rooms, and the Karoo Manor Guesthouse & Restaurant.
