Top musicians celebrate Kendrick Lamar's Pulitzer Prize win

Kendrick Lamar became the first rapper in history to win the Pulitzer Prize in Music and his fellow musicians can't stop singing his praises.

Kendrick Lamar's critically acclaimed album, 'Damn', was awarded the 2018 Pulitzer Prize in Music this week.

The rapper, who currently has two songs on the Coca-Cola Top 40, made history in the process. 

He is the first rapper to be given the honour, and the first non-classical and non-jazz artist to win in 75-years.

Kendrick's fans says winning the award is "bigger than a Grammy".

They are not the only ones singing Kendrick Lamar's praises.

Several musicians, including Bruno Mars and Diddy, took to social media to celebrate his win.
