With an IQ higher than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, she is definitely a force to be reckoned with...
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and it is definitely a reminder to all of us to be mindful of others.
You never truly know what someone is going through and somehow it feels worse when a child has to go through any sort of trauma, including bullying.
But we have an inspiring story that showed resilience at its best.
Eleven-year-old Adhara Pérez Sánchez is a motivational example of how bullying doesn't need to stop you from perservering.
Adhara was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, but she has an IQ higher than Albert Einstein and is receiving a master's degree in engineering to prove it.
Although she grew up in a low-income neighbourhood in Mexico City and was often bullied for being autistic, she certainly has great things ahead of her.
"After enduring years of apathetic teachers and bullying from her classmates, which led to her changing schools three times, Adhara began to isolate herself, her family told Marie Claire Mexico." (Daily Mail)

The bullying and lack of support from teachers caused Adhara to isolate herself and her mother shared that she became depressed.
However, mom noticed that she taught herself algebra and even memorised the periodic table.
"To help with her daughter's depression, she enrolled her in therapy and was soon advised to send her to the Center for Attention to Talent (CEDAT), a school for gifted children. Here, her IQ was confirmed to be a mind-blowing 162 - higher than Albert Einstein and her muse Stephen Hawking, who both had an IQ of 160." (Daily Mail)
Besides completing her bachelor's degree in systems engineering at CNCI University, she is currently studying toward a master's degree in mathematics at the Technological University of Mexico.
She said something that we believe everyone should hear, because sometimes regardless of our age or circumstance, life can be difficult.
"'I want to go to space and colonize Mars. If you don’t like where you are, imagine where you want to be. I see myself at NASA, so it’s worth a try." (Daily Mail)
