The Covid-19 pandemic has forced people to be innovative,
but we didn’t expect this.
2020 has been weird and many people have lost their jobs.
This has forced a lot of us to be innovative and finds new way to make extra income or make our money stretch.
Queen Elizabeth II has however come up with a new way to make revenue during these times.
While South African bottle stores are closed, The Royal has started her own brand of gin.
Yes, you’re reading that right, apparently, it’s her drink of choice and she has decided to turn it into a business.
The Royal Collection Trust, a department of the Royal Household, launched a premium dry gin for sale in its shops on Monday.
Selling at about R850, the 42% proof gin will certainly help the royal bottom-line.
The drink is infused with bay and mulberry leaves found in the Queen’s back garden.
According to a press release issued by the trust, proceeds will go towards the preservation of the royal collection.
