Have you ever worn something often to make up for the cost?

Yes Ms. Wilson, we would reuse a Balmain if it cost R72k too...

There are definitely certain pieces in our wardrobes that don't get the attention that they deserve. We believe that all our garments deserve some tender loving care, and part of that means to give them some fresh air with a chance to show off their appeal.

So as much as some of them end up sitting on that hanger for a longer time than we would like, it doesn't mean that they are forgotten and not admired. Each garment needs to have a place in your life, if it doesn't belong then you should donate it or sell it.

If you are wondering why we are talking about your clothes, it's because we recently saw actress and funny girl Rebel Wilson strut her stuff on the red carpet at the Australian Academy Awards in Sydney.

She wore a Balmain creation, which featured padded shoulders and embellishments of metal rings and silver tape around the front zip. The dress retails for £3,395, which is around R72,000, and is definitely that one black dress that many would love to have as part of their dress collection.

What got us talking about those forgotten pieces in our wardrobe is the fact that Rebel showed us that if you love something and how it makes you feel, then there's nothing wrong with wearing it more than once.

Even if it's just wearing it at home, hanging around, feeling bougey, and the price just makes us want to flash it off more. She proved this when she flaunted wearing the dress more than once, big respect to you, Rebel, for strutting that Balmain with style.

We think it's perfectly okay to reuse garments, not just because they are pricey, but because it gives you an opportunity to style it in different ways. And what better way to exercise your sense of style?

Plus, sometimes it's just about wearing something that makes you feel empowered, sexy, and strong, and we're certain that a R72k anything could do that for anyone...Vic Naidoo admitted that he would do the same...
