South Africa has introduced its cheapest electric car and many people have opted to buy this cute and savvy Eleksa CityBug. The car is retailing for R230,000, but that's not the best part.

With the ever-increasing price of petrol and diesel, it could be that the introduction of a cost-effective electric car is the way to go. Of course, we are not sure how great that may be if loadshedding decides to give you a surprise visit...
Nevertheless, this car is definitely something to consider if you are in the market for a new vehicle. Most especially if you want to be kinder to the environment, more than that, kinder to your bank account.
