Would you return R550k if you found it inside your couch?

Well, this woman did.
Looking for second-hand furniture online is not something unusual.
In fact, if it's been well taken care of and the price is right, many people would rather opt for second-hand as opposed to an inflated store price.
But this woman, from San Bernardino County, California, USA, got way more than she bargained for.
Vicky Umodu was looking for a couch on the popular online marketplace, Craigslist.
And she came across a family who were giving away a couch that belonged to a recently deceased family member.
Of course, like any person, she thought that perhaps this was too good to be true. Vicky had just moved in to a new home and was so excited when the arrangements were made to collect her new couch, which she received for free.
Upon inspecting her new couch, she found an irregularity, which she thought was a heat pad. It turned out to be envelopes filled with cash.
Cash totalling $36,000 (which equates to roughly, R550,000). She immediately contacted the family to return the money.
And her honesty did not go without a reward...
The family gave her $2,200 (R33,000) for her honesty. You see, who says being honest doesn't get you anywhere?
