Would you pay R5.4k a night to sleep in a hotel room under the stars?

Well, this hotel has a waiting list of 6,000 people...
Now if we're really honest, we have to admit that going on holiday is all about pamper sessions, relaxing, and enjoying the sights and scenery.
Having a bucket list of places to visit in a lifetime comes with prestige, luxury, and five-star treatment.
So, to find out that this destination has a waiting list of over 6,000 people, leaves us intrigued (to say the least...).
"In Switzerland there are thousands of people lined up to sleep in a hotel room that consists only of a bed and bedside pedestals with night lamps on it. The hotel room is located next to a petrol station in the village of Saillon, in the southern canton of Valais, Switzerland, and was designed for people who want to ponder on “the current world situation.” (MSN)
Sounds like one of those holiday schemes that are for the forward-thinking individual...
"Swiss concept artists and twins Frank and Patrick Riklin shared with Euronews that the main aim of the hotel is not a peaceful night’s sleep. Instead, people come here to reflect on life and its many shortcomings." (MSN)
Not to be a downer or nay-sayer, but we can do that in a tent while camping, why do we need to pay R5,460 a night to contemplate the world's current state?
Well, this comes with butler service, drinks, and breakfast as well.

All in the name of being bespoke and out-of-this-world existentialism...
Well, that's just us being spicy, the real art behind the hotel is to inspire people to think of the world through different eyes, and challenge them to act differently...
