World Cup competition looks for zero likes

Quite the oxymoron for social media culture, don't you think?

When you think about social media these days, it's a constant competition to go viral.
Many people trying to outdo the next and each influencer trying to garner more likes and comments.
Because as you may know the more engaged an audience the better the return. Sometimes this comes in the form of good branding, other times it comes in the form of getting paid.
In essence we can agree that everyone is searching for likes...
Which is why we found it interesting that a recent post on a popular content page on Instagram posted something contradictory.
Check out the post below, which is a competition post. The person with no likes on their comment will stand a chance to win a football jersey, all in celebration for the upcoming Womens World Cup.

We found the juxtaposition to be quite appealing. Especially in a world that is consumed with going viral.
One of the other conditions is following the FootballHER page on Instagram. So, we guess it comes with some sort of catch in terms of gaining traction.
