A woman who was gifted money to gamble by her boyfriend wins big, but chooses not to share her winnings with bae...
In relationships, it is never set in stone that both people will like the exact same things.
Likes and interests can vary and that is completely normal. But sometimes you get partners who want their significant others to engage in their likes so that they can do this hobby together.
In this case, it was a man who enjoyed gambling, whilst his partner was more of a watcher.
She turned to Reddit to share their story after things went sideways after winning a jackpot.
In the post on Reddit, the woman explained that she wasn't a gambler and her partner was. She was happy to watch others enjoy playing.
Her partner invited her for a holiday stay at a hotel with a casino and she agreed to go, reminding him that she had no intention of gambling.
After their third night of the stay, he insisted she gamble and so put $100 (R1860) into a machine and told her to spin. He went away and told her he would return to check on her.
Guess what? She had beginner's luck and won over $10,000 (R186,000) when he returned to check on her.
She eventually brought her winnings up to $15,000 (R279,000) and cashed her money out. She handed him the $100 he put in the machine.
But this started a quarrel as he believed that she should have shared half of her winnings with him, considering her gave her the money to play in the first place.

She believed otherwise and kept her money. They are no longer together.
Her decision to ask people revealed that many people supported her decision, saying that he did not communicate properly.
He should've made it clear that if she loses, it is fine, but if she wins, they split the winnings.
We guess that saying about all being fair in love and war should also apply to love and gambling... After all, love is a gamble in itself.
