Woman, 40, quits her job to become a full-time daughter

When you are in a stressful job it can feel like everything in your life is stressful.
For one woman, it really did sound like too much as she was literally expected to be online 24 hours a day.
After working at a news agency for 15 years, a 40-year-old Chinese woman chose to quit her job and move back in with her parents.
"Her parents came up with a better employment offer if she just quit the job that made her so miserable. “Why don’t you just quit your job? We’ll take care of you financially,”." (Oddity Central)
Those are some top notch parents, but that's not all.
Besides offering to care for her financially, they also promised to pay her 4,000 yuan (R11,000) per month if she just came and lived with them.
After reaching a year in this new role of hers, she admits that she feels so fulfilled.
Nianan helps her parents go grocery shopping, they prepare meals together, and they also have a dedicated time to dance every day.

Sounds like the perfect recipe for happiness.
Many people from China have come down hard on Nianan after hearing her story, blaming her for taking advantage of her parents.
Whilst others thought it beneficial to both the youth and the elderly. Especially considering the burnout that is being experienced by the working class in China, who follow the 996 culture -where they work from 9am to 9pm, six days a week.
Nianan enjoys life with her parents but does have a desire to earn more money, which her parents support as well.
If she wishes to find other employment then they said they would happily support her, as long as she is not stressed.
