We cannot imagine helping out friends only to be ill-treated by them on their special day. A woman who is actually a dog groomer by profession decided to help out her friends who were getting married and had a super small budget when it came to photography.

She admitted that she takes good photos but also that it was for social media and for the dogs. She decided to help her friends out with the budget of R3600 for the day, which was meant to be from 11am to around 7.30pm.

She shared that she was on her feet from the start of the day. And we all know how crazy it can be with the pressure of capturing it all from start to finish when it comes to a celebration such as a wedding day.

After chatting with the groom, things began getting a bit awkward when he informed her that she either be the photographer or leave without pay. This isn't something you traditionally expect from the groom, sounds like a bridezilla moment, but no judgement.

It was so bad that she couldn't even take time to get water. Come now, people, that's a bit extreme, yes your wedding day should be all about you, but don't forget about the people that have bent over backwards to make it special for you. Don't lose your heart on the day that is meant to be celebrating a union of hearts...

She is now feeling at odds about the way she handled the situation, obviously because of the added element that they are her friends.

It gets us thinking about the way we treat our friends who happen to double up as service providers for us, either for a special occasion or just in general.

Have you had a friend who did work for you, what was your experience?
