You won't believe what happens after...
When it comes to couple life, there are certain boundaries that are always safe to set early on in the relationship. Because once you cross a line, there is sometimes no turning back... or in this case, no swimming back...
A woman shares her story to TikTok about asking her husband to clean out the fish tank. When he doesn't listen to her, she decides to do something brutal, there's no turning back...
She writes this in the video caption: "My husband kept promising to clean the aquarium after I told him to. I thought it would be delicious if I fried it." (MSN)
Which sounds quite vengeful, implying that she took his fish and fried it up for a meal, obviously without his consent. The fish, which was an Arowana, is said to be quite an expensive fish. It retails between $300 (R4,500) – $70,000 (R1-million), and is also considered to be a symbol of wealth and prosperity in Southeast Asia.

The woman has received some backlash from commentators who say that it was not right for her to kill the fish and fry it for such a mediocre reason. But she came back saying that the fish was already dead because the tank was dirty, before she decided to fry it.
In addition, she expresses that at first her husband was upset, but he has since forgiven her. He has promised to clean out the fish tank in future, as the couple are in the market for a new Arowana fish.
