Vic Naidoo shared a personal voice note with us saying that he was "totally against" them taking advantage of their positions as influential people. It was painting the wrong kind of image to the fans, who look up to these celebs and want to be just like them.

A recent video released on TikTok by a South African influencer shared that the Gucci store in Sandton City, Johannesburg was making people R1,000 to take pictures walking around with Gucci shopping bags. Yes, you read correct, just the shopping bag.

The TikToker later recanted her post, saying that she had made a mistake with the store. It was, in fact, the Gucci store at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Check out the original video that she released about a week ago...

It seems that the people fashioning the fake Gucci have found a market because the stores are perpetuating the market for knock offs. We did some digging of our own and found that empty Gucci boxes and shopping bags retail on eBay from R200-R900 and some of these are second hand.

Why in the world would you buy the packaging? That makes no sense, unless you have a vivid imagination and want to gift someone something you bought that wasn't authentic.
