Shopping is definitely something that many of us love to do.
But when it comes to finding the best fit with what you are shopping for, sometimes you need some assistance.
That is why customer service is such an important facet in the world of retail.

But one of the most frustrating parts of going to a store is when you cannot find anyone to assist you.
Now the point of having sales people covering the floor is to preempt when a customer may need assistance.
Or better, inform the customer of their presence so that when and if they need help, they feel reassured that someone is there.
That's just common decency and a sign of a well-trained employee.
This customer took things a step further when he described a Walmart store as a "ghost town".
After searching for a person to help him purchase a laptop, his failure turned him to the store's PA system.
