WATCH: This bubble experiment is oddly satisfying

The cold and rainy weather has many of us feeling a bit uneasy. With reports of flooding and people losing their lives due to landslides, it can be truly scary...

But we are choosing to steer clear from the sad, the bad, and scary today. 

We wanted to share something that looked pretty cool...

It's one of those videos that you want to watch over and over, because it's oddly satisfying. 

A person shared a video showing what happened to a bubble when the weather is freezing cold. Now in the name of full disclosure, this video seems to have been taken in snowy weather, but that doesn't mean we can't try.

Now being the people that we are, we wanted to try it out. 

Bear in mind that the it's not snowing in Durban, but the rainfall has been consistent, and we're wearing our hoodies, so it is somewhat cold. 

But all we achieved was the bubbles sticking to the ground, looking pretty, and then bursting as it hit the rain...

Better to have tried...
