US zoo offering people the option to name a cockroach after their ex

In case you are looking for a way to get back at your ex...
When it comes to Valentine's Day, you get people who get a high from it all, and then those ones that are still left a bit bitter.
The good news for the bitter ones is that there is now a way for you to exact the ultimate revenge on your ex this Valentine's Day.
“The zoo has an annual Valentine's Day tradition to help raise funds for wildlife in Texas and worldwide. For a donation of $5–$25 (R86- R430), you can name a cockroach after your ex. The zoo also allows donors to name a rodent or veggie after a former partner.” (News24)
That’s an interesting way to get back at your crawling bugger of an ex…
And, wait for it, it doesn’t end there. Not only will you receive a digital Valentine’s Card, but your ex will also receive one.
But it won’t be filled with pop-up hearts, instead it will inform them that a roach has been named after them. Ahh, what an honour!
“And it turns out many other zoos in the US do this. According to CBS News, The Bronx Zoo also has a "name a roach" program. You can send your ex a tote bag or tumbler with a cockroach image – informing them they have one named after them.” (News24)

“At the El Paso Zoo, the cockroaches you name after your exes are fed to animals at the zoo, like iguanas, skinks and meerkats. While the Houston Museum of Natural Science also allows you to name roaches after exes, and the Florida Aquarium has downloadable roach-themed Valentine's Day cards.” (News24)
The big question here is, will you be naming a cockroach after your ex or will you be celebrating with your love bug this Valentine’s Day?
