Three simple questions that only 17% of participants get right

There is rarely a moment where we can confidently say that we all can answer any and every question with the ideal answer.
We believe that to be closely connected to the fact that we are all different and therefore there is a high chance that we think differently.
Of course, this is not always the case. We wanted to test your knowledge with these three questions that are said to be answered correctly by only 17% of participants.
This is said to be a cognitive reflection test and following your intuition may not be the correct way of answering here.
Some advice in taking on these questions would be not to get carried away with answering impulsively, take some time to reflect, and be thoughtful when coming up with your answer.
Question one: "A baseball bat and ball cost R1.10. The bat costs 1 Rand more than the ball. How much does the ball cost?"
Question two: "If it takes 5 machines 5 minutes to make 5 objects, how long would it take 100 machines to make 100 objects?"
Question three: "In a lake, there is a cluster of lotuses. Every day the cluster doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the lotuses to cover the entire lake, how long will it take to cover half the lake?"

Answer one:
"The ball is worth 5 cents and the baseball bat is worth R1.05. Your first impulse may lead you to think that the ball is worth 10 cents, but in that case the total for the bat and ball would be R1.20."
Answer two:
"It would only take 5 minutes. They are more machines, more objects, but the same execution time."
Answer three:
"The answer is 47 days. Just the day before it fills up completely, half of the lake would be covered with lotuses."
