A social experiment aimed at helping people find love without dating apps
Updated | By Vic Naidoo
The single life is a thing of the past.
It's no surprise that the number of people who use dating apps increases daily.
Dating apps are the most used type of apps in the entire world, mainly because we live in a time where everyone is searching for 'the one'.
Many people even claim it's super easy to find someone on a dating app as opposed to a social setting, because many people tend to be anxious and reserved in public, which makes it hard to approach someone who catches your eye.
However, there have been many disadvantages of dating apps because it opens up a gateway to being catfished or even worse - stumbling upon a serial killer!

A new social experiment has been making waves all over social media.
The social experiment is designed for all the singles to allow them the opportunity to find love without utilising dating apps.
The singles wear a ring called pear, which will be an indication of their relationship status, making it easier for them to meet other single people.
The ring will always play an important part in separating the married individuals from all the single individuals - or will it?

Many people have found this new ring trend to be quite 'cringe', however, many others are very into it as they believe it will bring back organic conversations between people without the use of digital platforms.
This might be the next big thing because it will boost human interaction and allow people to start going outside again.
