SHOCKING: "I cut my hair and got removed from the bridal party... so I sued her!"
Updated | By East Coast Radio
What would you do if the bride removed you from the bridal party three days before the wedding?
There's no doubt that when it comes to your special day, you have had visions of what it would be like and you most likely have it all planned out to the T. And, of course, you have every right to do that and to have things turn out beautifully.
But whilst you are on the path of planning and wanting everything to turn out amazingly, remember that without your friends and family, the day will never be the same. Yes, you may have the perfect pictures, the most amazing dress, and the weather even play out in your favour...
But it's never a good thing to let the ideal day turn you into a person that you won't recognise after the fact.

A woman who was asked to be a bridesmaid shared her story on Reddit recently and asked Reddit users if her actions were too harsh for her friend (or should we say ex-friend) who happened to be the bride.
She shared that she had invested a lot of time and money on her friend's wedding because she wanted her to feel special. But after losing a lot of her hair, due to a health condition, she had to cut her hair.
This did not line up with her friend, who had a vision in terms of the aesthetics on the wedding day. The bridesmaid's hair did not line up with the hairstyles of the rest of the bridesmaids and this did not sit well with the bride. The bride sent her a detailed message about how she felt, including the fact that she no longer wanted her on the bridal party.
After our recent conversations, I'd like to remind you of my boundaries: I've been very accommodating and graceful, but I can't allow you to disrespect me. As you know, my wedding has been something I've dreamt of for many years. (Husband) and I have invested a lot of money into the video and photos of this day, and as we reflect on this day in the future, we want to see our vision reflected in the memories. Since I asked each of you to be a bridesmaid in 2019, I've been very clear and very communicative in my request. The timing of your decision to cut your hair and not income in advance is very upsetting to me. I would have felt respected if you had communicated with me more than a week prior to the wedding, so we could have worked together to find a collaborative solution.- The Bride

The bridesmaid responded by sending the bridal couple an invoice asking them to reimburse her for all that she had spent since the planning of the wedding.
They did not respond and that is when she decided to take them to court to ask for the money that she had spent, which totalled $700 (R10,500). She then asked Reddit users if she was wrong for taking them to court...
It's a tough one, as much as we know the importance of a wedding day for many bridal couples, you cannot forget your friends in their time of need. The bridesmaid obviously didn't just go cut her hair for fun, or to spite the bride, she did it because of health reasons.
Good friends are few and far to find, so when you have them, you should nurture them...
