Talking about feet isn't something that we willingly enjoy doing. This is mostly because not everyone practices good feet etiquette.
It can be a smelly and scaly affair when it comes to the topic of feet, and this is why we admire foot doctors and pedicurists. Why? Well, not everyone can stand what feet bring with them...
In some cultures when you touch someone's feet it is considered as taking their blessing, usually, it involves a young person taking the blessing of an elder.
But specialising in feet can open up your world to another level of weird and wacky.
We came across a foot and ankle surgeon, Dr Brad Schaeffer, who shared a patient's story.
When he removed the man's sock, it is safe to say that we were horrified.
The man's son began making gagging sounds, which didn't help at all.
In short, it was disgusting, but what was sad is that the elderly man was in extreme pain.
