P. Diddy faces backlash for wanting to "connect with the motherland"
The musician/producer is facing the wrath of Twitter after he wrote an open letter to Africa.
P. Diddy has taken to Twitter to elaborate on his collaboration with Nigerian artist Burna Boy, while mentioning how he wanted to "connect to the motherland for a minute".

He continues by saying he has never had the chance to do it properly and in a "soulful spiritual way".
He goes on to talk about how the COVID-19 pandemic gave him the much needed time off and that's when Burna Boy approached him.

Now the star is facing a backlash after many accused him of wanting to use the current popularity of the continent to produce content.

No matter the feelings towards Diddy, Burna Boy is clearly destined for success.
