This is not what you want to find in your meal, especially if that's not what you ordered...
We've come across some crazy food combinations featured in dishes from across the globe.
And as much as they were pretty extreme, it was all within the boundaries of extremity because it was marketed as such.
For instance, the whole Frog inside a bowl of Ramen noodles at a Taiwanese restaurant.
But in this instance, it was a surprise for this man who found something moving in his bowl of mushroom noodle soup.
Take a look at the snippet of his surprise below, courtesy of TikTok:
@veezdom Mouse Found Twitching in Chinese Takeaway A disturbing incident has gone viral after a stunned customer uncovered a mouse in his Chinese takeaway meal. Sam Hayward, a 39-year-old from Strood, was looking forward to enjoying the meal his girlfriend had brought home. As he delved into his tub of mushroom noodle soup, he was horrified to find a floating mouse that was still twitching. Sam shared his unsettling experience, stating, "I couldn't believe it. It made me feel sick." He even recorded a video of the mouse twitching in the soup and posted it on social media, where it quickly garnered over 300 shares and numerous disgusted comments. Sam attempted to contact the takeaway, but without a receipt due to a cash transaction, proving the source of the meal became challenging. KentOnline reached out to the Chinese restaurant, which denied any involvement, claiming the food did not originate from their establishment. As of now, Sam has not reported the incident to Medway Council's environmental health department. #MouseInTakeaway #chinese #UnexpectedDiscoveries #RestaurantNightmare #twitching #FoodSafetyAlert #diningsurprise #kitchen #UnwantedGuest #UnsanitaryConditions #restaurant #FoodSafety #FoodSafetyConcerns #UnexpectedEncounter #UnexpectedEncounter #KitchenChallenges #InspectYourFood #ShockingDiscovery #FoodQuality #unexpected #Mouse ♬ original sound - Veezdom

But get this, the restaurant denied the purchase of the meal and the fact that the couple paid with cash, without any proof of their purchase, it couldn't go any further.

The restaurant did not take any responsibility for the meal. It goes to show how important it is to keep your receipt or ask for one at the very least.
At first, he thought the mouse was a large mushroom...
He admitted that just thinking about the mouse in his food made him feel sick.
And we have to agree, just thinking about it makes us feel sick too.
