A topic that really gets people's attention. We've always known that it is best practice to place the toilet lid down before flushing.
But now scientists have shown us why that is so important.

As much as we have known that water droplets enter the air from the toilet bowl when flushing, actually seeing it makes is somewhat more gross.
"Scientists showed how water spews from the toilet bowl after a flush, using powerful lasers to illustrate what we normally can't see. Scientists have known for some time that tiny, invisible drops of water escape the toilet bowl after each flush.
