Keep or cut: My friend didn’t tell me about a job opening at her work
Updated | By Vic Naidoo
In this week’s edition, a listener wants help deciding
if she should stay friends with a woman who didn’t tell her about a job opportunity.
In this segment of the show, listeners will send us stories about something that a person did to them - and we will help them decide if they should keep or cut the person from their life. From the girlfriend who kissed your best friend to the colleague who ate your lunch without telling you, we have it all!
Here is an email we received from anonymous:
Hi Vic, thank you for the awesome show.
Boy have I got a case for you and your listeners. My friend who I have known for 11 years knew I was thinking about leaving my current job to find something better.
There was a position that opened up at her company that I was perfectly qualified for and she didn’t tell me. When I confronted her about it she said she felt it would ruin our friendship because I would be reporting to her. Still I feel like she could have at least told me and let me decide.
Should I keep or cut her?
