"The importance of treating yourself as we end another year..."
Updated | By East Coast Radio
"I treat myself by doing the bare minimum!"
We know him as the king of self-love and therefore he owns the realm of treating yourself.
The one and only Vic Naidoo has openly said that we can quote him as someone who treats himself on the daily by doing the bare minimum.
And the absolute truth is that in itself is definitely a treat - and we actually could learn from that!
I love to treat myself. I think life is so short and we shouldn't deprive ourselves of things. If there is something that you want, go out there and get it. Let it motivate you. You deserve nice things. Also treating yourself doesn't mean buying actual physical things, it could be sleeping. often, I would sleep an entire weekend away and I have no shame about it.- Vic Naidoo
He spoke about having to do what's best for himself to recharge. How often do you put everyone else's feeling before your own?
We bet quite often.
We need to remove ourselves from this community of shame and guilt. We should instead celebrate putting ourselves first, because by doing this, you are in fact giving others the best version of yourself.

Treating yourself could also mean saying 'No', not being around toxic people, including friends and family this Festive Season. Treating yourself doesn't have to follow the conventional route, you could take time to reflect where you were a year or two years ago. Tapping yourself on the shoulder, especially in KZN. This province has been through so much and people have all come together. Being grateful for yourself, your loved ones, your career, taking time to practice gratitude and putting yourself first.- Vic Naidoo
