I lied to my boss and said I don’t have Covid-19

about having Covid-19
The Covid-19 pandemic has left a lot of us feeling dizzy.
People are losing not only their jobs but also their lives.
Just yesterday South Africa surpassed the UK and we now have the 8th most Covid-19 cases in the world.
So, you can imagine my shock when a friend texted me this morning and said that she lied to her boss about testing positive.
She explained that she felt she might lose her job if she had to take time off and as a single mother in this economy it’s not easy to recover from that.
Of course, that’s no excuse for putting people’s lives at risk, something which I did my best to explain to her.
She is currently facing a disciplinary hearing and with her permission here are screenshots from our conversation below.
What’s the biggest lie you’ve told your boss and why?
