"I have a rough time making female friends because their partners find me attractive"
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Have you ever felt like your looks lead to you being treated differently?
Since this is a somewhat sensitive topic, we are going to try and remain as objective as we can be. So please take that into consideration when reading about this and feel free to be open about your opinion on the topic.
Moriah Mills, a rapper and model from New York City, has recently expressed that she has a difficult time finding friends because of her looks. The reason why? Many of her female friend's partners are always interested in her...
She said that many women are judgmental of her because of her looks and the fact that their partners have shown romantic interest in her. She responded by saying...
I’m super nice but maybe they feel that I’m conceited because of my looks. They couldn’t be more wrong. I’m very down to earth. I don’t really trust people and I don’t worry that I haven’t got a best friend. I used to care but now I just love myself.- Moriah Mills

She admitted that she gets lots of attention from men and that she never has a shortage of male admirers who want to take her out. Moriah also mentioned that she finds it easier to make friends with males.
She added that as much as they are her friends, she wouldn't call them up for dinner or drinks. She's got all she needs in her life - her dog Charlie is companion enough.
As much as we understand that this is her experience, there have been people that we know of who use their looks to their advantage. Some even say that they have gotten promotions at work, can talk themselves out of sticky situations, and more, because of their looks.
But then where do we draw the line when it comes to using your physical attributes for your benefit. What if it backfires? Then whose fault is that? Is it yours for giving someone the wrong impression or the receiver for making an assumption? Definitely something to think about...
