Guess what? D&G SMEG fridge will be going for R300k less than usual for Black November
Updated | By East Coast Radio
According to research, most buyers purchase during Black Friday out of boredom instead of need...
We all have our own personal list of wants and needs. When it comes to lifestyle and your personal style, this item is definitely on the list. We admit that it's not for everyone, but for the select few, it is a bespoke must-have.
We are talking about the Dolce & Gabbana SMEG appliance range. This range just heightens the brand and makes it even more desirable. For obvious reasons, we wanted to show some love to the collection this Black November.
Hirsch's have started placing discounts on the SMEG range at the beginning of the month, in honour of the infamous Black November.
"Fans of high-end kitchen appliance brand SMEG don't have to wait for Black Friday to get big discounts as retail chain Hirsch's Homestores says it has been discounting the Italian brand since the beginning of the month." (Business Insider)
Hirsch's says the "big, beautiful hand painted D&G Art Retro Fridge is on special, reduced from R1,3 million [to a about R1 million]." (Business Insider). This has peaked the question as to whether this R300k discount is enough for those who have this classy fridge on their wish list...
We are not so sure if it is feasible, but we have seen people buy things because they just had to have it. Like our very own Vic Naidoo, who admitted that he had to have a Van Gogh throw cushion once, and paid a ridiculous amount for it.

Hirsch's noted that the discounts vary from product to product but appreciated the association with the SMEG brand.
"Some of their kettles and toasters have over a R1 000 off them. There are great deals on ovens and hobs, including the beautiful fab retro looking fridges." (Business Insider)
They have also noted that their discounts are not exclusive to the SMEG range and consumers can also purchase online from their website, www.hirschs.co.za.
