Little Rafi decided to use her birthday as the perfect opportunity to do some good.
The Grace Factory is an organisation that supports South African mothers and babies with baby essentials like toiletries, clothing, and blankets.

The NGO was shocked and surprised when they received a massive donation from one of their youngest donors.
Eight-year-old Rafi was inspired by her neighbours, who did a collection for the NGO a month before her birthday, which led her to decide against receiving traditional birthday gifts and start her own Grace Factory collection.

She asked all her friends and family to donate essential items to the cause and soon, what started as a small collection in the family's entrance hall, soon took over their living room.
Her mother said that Rafi has decided to continue collecting donations during lockdown and wants to make an even bigger birthday donation next year.

Rafi even said that she couldn't have wished for a better birthday and it was just as fun to give presents as it was receiving them.
The donation reached nearly 400 items, which will be helping more than 100 mothers and their babies.
What an incredibly generous little girl!
