Drama! Fight ensues after child watches YouTube in the cinema

It brings up movie screening etiquette, which is a serious thing for many people...
As avid movie watchers, we believe it's important for there to be a set of rules when visiting the cinema.
Over the years, there have been a set of unspoken rules that exist when visiting the movies.
For one, talking in the cinema is a big no-no, and then there is not using your phone. Especially since when you visit the cinema to watch a movie, you are not watching alone, so being mindful of others is a must.

However, it seems even in this day and age people believe they can do what they like and get away with it.
Recently, at a movie theatre in Brazil, a fight broke out between two women.
It has been alleged that the reason the one woman started the fight was because the other woman allowed her child to watch YouTube during the screening of the 'Barbie' movie.
Of course, in no way do we encourage violence under any circumstances.
But we can understand that sometimes it can be frustrating when you really look forward to watching something and others don't respect that communal space.

Some parents do push the boundaries when it comes to public behaviour.
Allowing your kid to watch something in the presence of others at a movie isn't something we would consider acceptable.
In fact, it is inconsiderate. If your child is not feeling the movie, then you should leave with the kid and find a more kid-friendly movie.
That's our opinion anyway...
