Updated | By East Coast Radio
Can you believe where she started and where she is now? Inspiring!
The actress that won over our hearts with her rebellious attitude and good girl/bad girl vibes has an amazing story. Not only is she super talented as an actress, but she has a story that deserves to be scripted into a movie, if not a series.
As an entrepreneur and actress, her story started in the Eastern Cape and moved to Johannesburg at the tender age of three years old.
From there it was about nurturing her passion and taking the reigns on her future...
"She discovered her acting passion and talent in primary school, where she played on different school productions and won several accolades. Buhle attended Reddam House Bedfordview College and dropped out from the University of Cape Town in her second year, where she was studying for a Degree in Theatre and Performance." (Savanna News)
Her debut on television was on 'My Perfect Family' on SABC 1 and from there she played Buhle in Gomora. Her big break came as Puleng on one of our favs, Netflix Blood and Water.
The drama series that totally left us in cliffhanger mode...
Ama has more than one trick up her sleeve though, she has her own business and it involves recycling; talk about being environmentally conscious...
"Her company recycles plastics and manufactures packaging material. She employs 18 permanent employees and a few contract workers and has partnership deals with various municipalities. She is valued at R2.1 million, with the potential to increase as business revenue rises." (Savanna News)
