Vic Naidoo got an email from a very unhappy divorced father asking for
advice.
Every Tuesday, Vic has a feature called #AskAParent in which parents or kids ask KZN for help.

This week, an email came in from Anonymous in Vryheid, who is angry because his son is referring to his ex-wife’s new husband as ‘dad’.
Read his email here:
Hey Vic,
I need advice from other parents who have been through the same thing.
My ex-wife has married again and that’s all fine and well, but the problem for me is that my 7-year-old son now calls his stepdad ‘dad’.
This makes me angry as this is my son and that man is not his father.
Am I over-reacting or do I have a right to be angry?
