One of the most impactful stories this week has got to be the TikTok video that showed hand signals or gestures that could be used by women who are victims of domestic violence. The hand gesture actually helped save a young girl who was abducted.

Vic Naidoo is definitely an advocate for fashion, but more than that he is an advocate for responsible fashion. Fashion that takes the environment into regard. Standing up for something that not just breathes importance from within but also for others, is inspiring. 

So when we saw this story about where clothes go to die, it got us thinking about the innovation that some brands bring to the forefront. It shows us that there is always a solution, sometimes it just means taking the time to stand back and reflect. 

Then something unexpected happened when passengers on the Gautrain were trapped underground for two hours. Videos and other footage was released on social media, just showing how people have become so reliant on this mode of transport. 

It was a personal occurrence that shone the light on safety and security when it comes to breakdowns, and that is why Vic Naidoo got in touch with a passenger who shared his story of being trapped in the train.

And then there was this topic which raised a few eyebrows and peaked lots of interest in terms of colleagues learning about each other's salaries. It was inspired by new legislation being introduced in Finland.
