It’s been said that dogs are man’s best friend, but some people
are willing to take this to the extreme.
According to a study conducted by dog-walking service Wag! – Four out of five dog owners say their dog’s reaction will determine if they will continue dating a person or not.
Up to 86% of people with furry friends say they would actually, end a relationship with a romantic partner who doesn’t like their dog.
“It comes as no surprise to us at Wag! that dog parents place a premium on their dogs’ opinions of other humans and that this plays a deciding factor in their love lives,” says Hilary Schneider, Wag! CEO, in a statement.
I am a dog person and I understand people forming bonds with animals, but cutting someone off because of that.
We all have our preferences and surely that can’t be the end-all.
But dogs cannot just end relationships, but they can, also help you find love.
About 30% of dog owners say they’ve used their best pal to try and attract a love interest.
Would you dump your partner if they didn't like your dog?
