Shauwn Mkhize and Andile Mpisane bag international award nominations

Durban businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize and her son Andile Mpisane are celebrating some very exciting news.
The pair have both received nominations at the 4th annual Hollywood African Prestigious Awards (HAPAwards).
Shauwn's reality show, 'Kwa Mam'Mkhize', has been recognised in the 'Best Reality TV Show' category. The show premiered in January this year and became an instant hit.
'Kwa Mam'Mkhize' often trended on Twitter, with viewers in awe of Shauwn's lavish lifestyle. Her son and step-daughter, Sbahle Mpisane, both made appearances on the show.

Viewers also got a behind-the-scenes look at Andile's budding music career. Shauwn forked out a whopping R1-million for her son's music video, 'Umcimbi'. The gqom track features Madonon and Distruction Boyz.
And it was money well spent, because not only has the video been watched over one-million times on YouTube, but it has also been nominated at the HAPAwards.
Andile has been nominated in the 'Best New Male Independent African Music Video' and 'Best New Independent African Artists' categories.
