It's a Facebook group with over 27,000 members, and it's helping many to save precious pennies for the family. Thandolwethu got a chance to chat to one of the member's behind the group.

Ncumisa Fandesi is one of the people behind '1 Family 1 Stockpile', a Facebook group that is helping people save thousands every month by sharing discounts and specials.
According to the group's description, it was created for "moms who like the finer things in life but also likes to save money for the family. Having a stockpile means the family will always have enough which is a good feeling for all moms. This platform was created to give these special moms a place to share information on bargains, building the best stockpile for the family and general ideas on how to stretch the rand."
The group was created four years ago and has been helping families throughout South Africa.
Since Thandolwethu loves a good bargain, it only fitted for her to interview Ncumisa to find out about the group, and the purpose behind it.
