It is said that popular app, Google Maps, will be rolling out a new feature to allow users to see speed limits in their area and even speed cameras. IOL reports that in addition to South Africa, the feature will be rolled out in Australia, India, Hungary, Morocco, Namibia, and Zimbabwe.
"On Google Maps the speed limit will appear in the bottom corner of the app while the speed traps will appear as icons on the road themselves," it was published in an article.

The features are not that new to South Africans drivers who also make use of GPS navigation software, Waze. Both Android and iOS users will be able to use the features.
