Fishermen dive for safety to avoid boat crash

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope, it's just a terrifying crash about to happen in 3, 2, 1...

It’s a lazy afternoon and you’re doing some chilled fishing. You throw in another line and you happen to see another boat in the water heading your way.
No need to panic - just yet, that is. Then the boat looks like it’s heading straight towards you, but you wait. Surely they can see you, right?

Unfortunately for these fishermen in Oregan, USA, instead of dashing to catch fish, they had to dash for safety to avoid a speedboat that was heading towards them.
Camera footage captured the three fishermen out on a river, enjoying a relaxed time when in the distance a speedboat was quickly making its way to them. They tried waving and screaming to alert the boat in the distance, but nothing worked as the boat rammed into them.

According to ABC Action News, it is said that the 75-year-old boat driver found himself being distracted by his cellphone and didn't pay careful attention to what was in front of him. A lawsuit was filed last August.
