Updated | By East Coast radio
When Beyoncé said "I Made The World Stop" in her hit single with Nicki Minaj, she was not lying! The star's Halloween costume has officially broken the internet.
It is safe to say that the internet always waits in great anticipation to see what Hollywood celebrities dress up as or who when it comes to Halloween. Beyoncé is one of those artists whom the interwebs wait to see and as always she did not disappoint!
Over the last few years 'Queen B' as she is affectionately known by her fans has showed admiration for legendary musical icons.
In 2017, she and her husband paid tribute to another powerhouse couple of the late 90's in Lil Kim and Notorious B.I.G.
This year, Beyonce decided to pay homage to R&B legend, Toni Braxton and yes, the internet is freaking out!
In the images that the superstar shared on her Instagram, she can be seen recreating Braxtons self-titled album cover.
Beyonce is pictured rocking the infamous short pixie cut that was synonymous with Toni Braxton in the 90's, a fitted white tank top, jeans and a leather jacket with a chain belt which was identical to Braxton's original album cover.
Beyonce accompanied the images with a heartfelt tribute to the star:
Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends. Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always. Have a Happy Halloween my Kings and Queens- Beyonce
Toni Braxton expressed her gratitude and joy immediately, sharing the following on her Instagram account:
We love it when women support one another!
