We've loved her from day one as the funny and dramatic character Queen from the popular TV series Generations. Her struggle with her weight have always been a topic of conversation, so when she took a dramatic turn, people were questioning how and some even went on to claim life-threatening health issues.
After all the comments, Sophie took to Instagram to break her silence:
Living with Diabetes doesn't mean my life must stop. It means I will fight to live and encourage those who already are suffering from this deadly disease. Help others prevent it. I started my weight loss journey because I was Obese and it affected my health. I made a confident choice to start eating well and loose (sic) weigh.
A healthy life is always a great life!

Ariana Grande sang her heart out at Aretha Franklin's funeral service, but she was not praised for her extraordinary vocals and was instead shamed for her little black dress.

Ariana Grande gave a breath-taking performance of 'A Natual Woman' by Aretha Franklin at the late Queen of Soul's funeral, but this day was not in Ariana's favour. From being groped by the pastor and then criticised for wearing something considered to be disrespectful to church elders, let's just say that Ariana has had better days and Twitter was not her friend.

#3 AKA congratulates DJ Zinhle on her new venture
It's almost the end of the year and we're still trying to figure out if AKA and DJ Zinhle are back together or not?! We've even had them both in studio and there's still no definitive answer!
Either way, this was a year of respect and coming together for these two and AKA publically congratulating DJ Zinhle is one of the many things that took place this year. A definite 'aaaaw' moment. I just love it when people find a way to work together, especially when there are children involved.
Whether they are back together or not, maybe that's something we will find out in 2019, but while we wait let's watch some old interviews.
