Katy Perry gives Orlando shooting victim greatest gift

Emotions ran high when Katy Perry surprised one of the survivors of the Orlando nightclub shooting on the Ellen show.
One of the survivors Tony Marrero appeared on The Ellen show to share his story of the tragic Orlando shooting, which took the lives of 49 individuals.
Katy Perry made a surprise appearance on the show and told Tony that she would like to pay for his first year of college!
"I heard that you want to go to film school, so I personally want to pay for your first year at film school," she told the Tony.
Katy's love and light really shines through here.

Katy seems like such a kind and empathetic person and you can feel her realness.
There is nothing worse then meeting someone you adore and they turn out to be arrogant and self righteous, so this guy must have been so chuffed his idol was as awesome as he'd expected.
