In an exclusive interview with ZAlebs, the star said that she launched the brand and wanted to give Mzansi "a reason to be happy and celebrate."
Not being shy about the name choice, she said that because she has been in people's lives for so many years, she wanted the public to 'take her home' with them, so that she can be included in those special moments in a person's life.
"My gin is one of a kind. It shimmers and glows in the dark, plus has so much attitude! Besides, who drinks a celebrity? Have me. The first sip is like taking a bite into a Turkish delight and it explodes with a fruity element of berries and grape, smooth and not strong on the taste buds. Don’t let the colour fool you, it’s a baddie!" she said when asked about what separates her brands from competitors.
If you're a gin lover, above the age of 18, and want to try out something new, you may want to 'take Khanyi home with you'.
Disclaimer: Drink responsibility. No persons under the 18 should be permitted to consume alcohol.

Grey's Anatomy star talks diversity and colour representation during interview
Ellen Pompeo, or 'Meredith Grey' as you may know her from the popular medical drama Grey's Anatomy, has given her thoughts on diversity and equal representation during a recent segment of Net-A-Porter's 'Women in Television' issue.
She said: "When I show up on set, I would like to see the crew look like the world that I walk around in every day and I think it's up to all productions to make sure that your crew looks like the world we see. As Caucasian people, it's our job. It's our task. It's our responsibility to make sure that we speak up in every single room we walk into that this is not okay and that we can all do better. It's our job because we've created the problem."
Pompeo was joined on the panel by actresses Gabrielle Union, Gina Rodriguez, and Emma Roberts, who couldn't help but give the floor to her when she spoke her mind.
Producer of Grey's Anatomy, Shonda Rhimes, tweeted out the moment, saying "Go, Ellen, GO. @EllenPompeo", which is evident that she is in support of the star's view.
