Chester Bennington's posthumous Carpool Karaoke with Linkin Park
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
Recorded just days before his death, this 'Carpool Karaoke' is the ultimate tribute to Linkin Park's lead singer.

I still catch myself thinking about Chester Bennington. Many fans (myself included) were absolutely shattered when we woke up to the news that he had committed suicide.
Watching this posthumous 'Carpool Karaoke' of him is such a joy and it's hard to believe that Chester felt anything but happiness in his life... but that's depression for you. The highs are high and the lows are really low, I guess.Read: Chester Bennington's wife shares video of him laughing hours before he died
In this episode, Chester, Mike Shinoda, and Joe Hahn from Linkin Park are joined by the crazy America actor/comedian Ken Jeong. I loved seeing him in the hit movie, The Hangover.
Together they sing a mix of songs from Outcast, Aerosmith, RHCP, and, of course, Linkin Park. Chester explains his trademark scream and one of the first jobs he ever had. We get to see a happy and free man who dances on the sidewalk, laughs, jokes, and seems to be so content with life.
As a fan of his music, I struggle to wrap my head around how he managed to get through his days filled with depression. One can only imagine how the family must feel and what they're currently going through?
If you are battling with depression, reach out and speak to someone you trust. Don't allow it to consume you or get the better of you. You're better than that.

Chester's family agreed to release this footage in memory of him and I'm so glad that they did. It has to be the most heartwarming tribute to such a dear soul who touched so many with his music.
RIP, Chester. Thank you for the music. X
