One of the wins that we are truly proud of is that of Soweto Gospel Choir, who took home Best World Music Album Grammy for their collection of songs called Freedom. Channel24 reports that it was the fifth time they were nominated, and now have three Grammys in their collection.
Freedom was recorded to honour the 100 Years Celebration of Mandela. 11 February marks the 29th-anniversary date of when Tata was released from prison. What a legend.
