Are you brave enough to reveal your weird family traditions?
Updated | By Justin Paul James
Whether it be random pillow fights or talking in strange voices, every family has a weird side to them. In this edition of Jane's World, she wants to hear about yours.
Let's be honest here - we all have some type of weirdness in our family that we can't seem to bring ourselves to admit to. As the saying goes: "You can choose your friends but not your family." There are some things we just have to put up with.

Over time, families develop their own traditions. Some are normal, while some are pretty absurd - and it is not always certain how the traditions come about, but it is these very traditions that make our bloodlines truly unique from each other.
As you may well know, besides being a radio presenter and a kindness coach, our Jane Linley-Mama is all about her family. With three beautiful not-so-little kids and a loving husband, there are mountains of memories created every second in the Thomas household.

When asked about her family traditions, Jane described a particular one that was started by her husband.
"In our home, whistling is a big thing. Mr T is an avid whistler and is always whistling - always, whether it be in the shower or the car," she said.
Somehow it seems that the tradition of whistling has now caught on, and has become a trend at home.
"The kids now also walking around whistling merrily. It’s catchy," she said gleefully.
To prove it to us, she sent us a voice note in which her husband can be heard clearly in the background. Listen to the clip below:
What’s the weirdest tradition your family has? Drop your comments below, and Jane will try to read a few creative ones on air during Monday's show.
